A social hub build on family recipes - 2026

The goal of this social startup project was to conceive and design Nonna to Go, a fast-casual brand that tackles modern food insecurity and elder isolation through a scalable intergenerational ecosystem. The corporate identity aims to re-establish human connections by turning seniors into active kitchen guides for busy office workers, stressed families, and homesick students. Seeking a welcoming, authentic, and collaborative atmosphere, the project required a comprehensive branding system. This included a visual identity, custom icons, and guidelines that mirror core values: community, cooperation, and mutual neighborhood care.

The primary design challenge lay in bridging the gap between traditional heritage and a modern, efficient digital platform. Strategically, we had to prevent the brand from looking overly rustic or outdated while retaining emotional warmth. Our thought process focused on creating a balanced identity that communicates professional quality and food safety standards. The visual communication system had to address multiple touchpoints, from digital interfaces to sustainable physical touchpoints, ensuring that both tech-savvy young users and senior cooks could easily navigate the service.

The final creative layout delivered the complete pitch deck presentation, preserved in the file Nonna to Go.pptx (1).pdf, which introduces the core team and long-term scaling strategy. Concrete deliverables featured an official website prototype, custom social media graphics, and specialized icons representing the diverse menu items. Additionally, the design strategy introduced a sustainable merchandising set and a zero-waste packaging blueprint, including a branded reusable thermal kit designed for an eco-friendly deposit-return scheme.
