brand and contents For this self-branding project, the goal was to establish a comprehensive creative direction, including naming, logo design, a bold color palette, and a defined tone of voice that reflects a modern, innovative, and highly creative studio. Pixel Plankton is a contemporary digital design agency built on a striking contrast: digital precision “Pixel” meets organic fluidity “Plankton”. The agency’s mission is driven by the tagline “Small details, big atmosphere,” which focuses on transforming technical expertise and innovative AI integration into tactile experiences and everyday beauty.
The primary obstacle was the classic creative dilemma: effectively representing one’s own identity, vision, and skills. Designing for yourself requires intense synthesis. Strategically, the challenge lay in balancing the cold nature of technology with a warm, organic feel. We solved this by pairing advanced digital concepts with a custom, handmade calligraphic logo. The vibrant magenta color choice anchors the visual identity, ensuring the brand stands out in a crowded digital marketplace while communicating both energy and meticulous attention to detail.
The final project delivered a complete brand identity package, featuring the custom logo design, a distinctive color palette, and clear guidelines for photography and imagery styles. By successfully merging digital innovation with an organic touch, the new brand positioning immediately communicates our full creative capabilities.
